When we look at the overall Twin Cities real estate markets it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Narrowed down to just the City of St. Paul, however, the picture becomes clearer.

It appears as if sellers feel they’re in the driver’s seat, which may be true down the line, but not right now. Yes, the inventory of available homes has decreased from September 2013 to September of this year. The number of new listings to hit the St. Paul real estate market during that period went down 6.5 percent.

Get Totally Grossed Out on Halloween

Even the name is creepy: The Butcher Shop House of Gore. If your idea of a good time on Halloween is to get totally grossed out then you must go to this event. A den of murderers, dead people, dead people decomposing, rats, body parts, mummies and “gallons of shocking bloody gore” all await you.

High Bridge Dog Park

Yelpers are a pretty tough bunch, so when a park receives four stars you know it has to be good.

High Bridge Dog Park, a former coal power plant, is comprised of 7 acres between Shepard Road and the River, beneath the Smith Avenue High Bridge in St. Paul. The area is completely fenced in so you can feel safe letting your dog off the leash.
