If you’re planning on heading out to the ballpark this summer to catch a St. Paul Saints game, stocking up on refreshments from the convenience of your own seat is now part of the game day experience. Just recently announced by the city’s minor league baseball team is a brand new iPhone and Android app that fans can use for a variety of functions like buying tickets, sharing photos, and participating in trivia contests and fan challenges.
But as alluded to above, perhaps the coolest part about the new mobile app, however, is the ability to order food and drinks from your phone and having your refreshments promptly delivered directly to your seat. Although the menu from the app is limited, beer, liquor, Gatorade, water, and all kinds of snack items are still included.
For now, the ability to order cooked food, like hot dogs or burgers, isn't part of the app, mainly because those orders might take too long to process.
Of all the professional sports teams in Minneapolis-St. Paul, the Saints were one of the last organizations to implement this type of mobile app, as the Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves, and Wild all already have something similar available to fans.
