West 7th is in the Irvine Park neighborhood that happens to be home to some of the most historic homes in the area. It is an area always alive before and after events in downtown Saint Paul. It is home to Saint Paul’s first craft brewery and is also has a growing art scene. Here some just some of the Dining choices available in West 7th.

Liffey Irish Pub

This pub has a true Irish flare. The wood bar was handmade in Ireland but the full bar and draft beers have the Irish American tradition feel and taste.

Liffey is the name of the river that runs through Ireland and the pub is close to the Mississippi so its name was chosen for this fact. Enjoy your beer and cocktails and meal in this cozy restaurant or enjoy the large seating area on the patio.

Summit Brewing Company

This brewing company is Saint Paul’s first craft brewery and free tours and tastings are available certain days of the week by reservation.  They brew Extra Pale Ale, Saga IPA, the Union Series and the limited release Unchained, along with other great craft beers. Summit is open to the public for food trucks, pints and flights every Friday from 3pm to 8pm.

Tom Reid’s Hockey City Pub

If you are a sports fan you will fall in love with the 10-FOOT TV!  This is the perfect spot to down drinks and enjoy tasty food. You can also relax on the Outdoor Patio, but there is also no other bar available to watch the Minnesota Wild Games.

Glockenspiel Restaurant

Banquet facilities are available in the upstairs area. This Authentic German Food restaurant will wow you with their décor, handmade deserts and their beautiful bar.

These are just a few of the many dining options found in the West 7th Dining District. This area is full of many other great choices, as well.
