The Como neighborhood is all about providing residents with a fun and safe place to hang out.  Here are two main attractions you will find in Como.

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory

The breathtaking gardens and stunning views at the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory will literally blow you away. Its beauty and elegance is unlike anything you have ever seen before. Not only will you be able to view animals from all over, but you will also be able to host a reception or ceremony in the Visitor Center. Couples have unforgettable weddings here on a regular basis.

The Como Park Zoo & Conservatory is located at 1225 Estabrook Drive in St. Paul. For more information about hours of operation as well as events that may be held there, visit them online at http://www.comozooconservatory.org/.

Como Park

This park has been around for over a hundred years. During that time it has provided hundreds of thousands of visitors an outdoor space full of fun. Here you will find a host of recreational activities for all age groups. Some of them are free while others are reasonably priced.

The Landscape, which is unbelievably beautiful, was designed by Frederick Nussbaumer and H.W.S. Cleveland. They are credited with laying the framework for what is now known as Como Park. Without their work the activities and services the community now has access to would not have been available.

Today the park still provides visitors with free access to both the zoo and the conservatory. There is also a park shelter that can be rented out. It is equipped with an exhibit area, electricity, a streetcar station, barbeque grills and so much more.
