Summer is on its way― and the evidence is in the increase in local events here in St. Paul. Among the following are a couple happening this weekend.
Grand Old Day
The granddaddy of festivals happens this Sunday on Grand Avenue. As usual, the street will be closed to vehicular traffic and thousands of your neighbors will be roaming around. Adults can enjoy the Festival Gardens’ live music, beer bash and more. Then, there’s the Family Fun District and the Health & Wellness District.
Get there early for the 9:30 am parade and make a day of it. There will be lots of food vendors so don’t worry about going hungry. Find out more here.
If you’re a fan of craft beer you won’t want to miss this year’s Beer Fest. It’s the 6th annual and it takes place this Saturday, June 6th, from 2-6pm at the MN State Fairgrounds.
