For a little fun and excitement in the St. Paul area, there are many establishments where you can go to enjoy the nightlife. While there are pros to all of the types of establishments in the area, there are a few that are known as being the best in the area.
Minnesota Music Café
This establishment is well-known to locals as it’s one of the hippest bars in the area. You’ll find a host of banners and other items all around the Minnesota Music Café that are a tribute to many famous musicians from Minnesota, such as Bob Dylan and Prince.
Every week there is a new act that ranges from blues to rock ‘n roll to jazz. And you may see some nationally recognized recording artists playing in there on your next visit.
The Liffey Irish Pub
This is an authentic Irish pub that is located in the Holiday Inn Rivercentre. Here you can order an Irish drink and listen to some great music. You can also enjoy a delicious plate of Shepherd’s pie or fish and chips.
The Artist’s Quarter
If you like Jazz music, you’ll love this establishment. It is owned and operated by a musician and it provides a place for local musicians to play throughout the week. On weekends musicians that are better known get the opportunity to entertain the crowd.
On the first Monday of every month, The Artist’s Quarter hosts a poetry slam and while food is not served at The Artist’s Quarter, patrons are allowed to order food from nearby establishments.
Fabulous Fern’s Bar and Grill
This bar and grill is usually packed full throughout the week and it typically is the go-to place for business men and women after a long day at work. They can meet up with friends, order some drinks and food, and let off a little steam.
These are just a few of the many great spots for nightlife in the St. Paul area. Whether you prefer an Irish pub or a music club, you can find the right place for you throughout the city.
