Saint Paul is a busy and beautiful city full of families and professionals. With the hustle and bustle of the city life, it’s hard to find a romantic spot where you can take your spouse or date. Whether you’re looking for some time to enjoy your significant other or perhaps need a great spot for a proposal, here are the top spots in St. Paul to find pure romance.

The Saint Paul Hotel – 350 Market Street

The Saint Paul Hotel is a Minnesota Landmark Hotel. It was built in 1910 and is a member of the Historic Hotels of America list. It’s the premier hotel of Saint Paul and is just nine miles away from the Mall of America and the airport. With its modern convenience and turn-of-the century charm, it’s a beautiful, romantic spot in St. Paul when you sit by the glowing fireplace in the lobby of the hotel.

Marjorie McNeely Conservatory – 1225 Estabrook Drive

The flowers at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory make for a very romantic spot in St. Paul. Many weddings take place there and receptions overlooking the gardens and zoo grounds of Como Park Zoo. You’ll love the indoor gardens with the perfect place to snap some photos.

Indian Mounds Park – 10 Mounds Boulevard

To catch a beautiful Saint Paul sunset, check out the view from Indian Mounds Park. The park is perched atop Dayton’s Bluff overlooking the Mississippi. It’s especially beautiful in the fall because the landscape is turning beautiful colors while in the summertime, the lush greens and perfect landscaping make it gorgeous for strolling through the park or spending time with family. While 37 mounds were once erected, only six now remain from the two burial sites of two different Native American cultures.

Harriet Island – 200 Dr. Justus Ohage Boulevard

Harriet Island is a huge recreational space for the community to enjoy. Festivals, events and weddings are held here regularly due to the beautiful scenic views of the bluffs of Saint Paul plus the Mississippi.

Other beautiful stops include Rice Park, Mears Park and Summit Avenue
