How many high schools do you imagine have a flight simulator lab? Johnson Senior High in Saint Paul does, as part of its Aerospace and Engineering program. They also offer another unique program that involves Habitat for Humanity and student trips to Central America every other year.

The school is also proud of the fact that they are the only “certified Project Lead the Way high school in Saint Paul.” What this means is that they offer classes in pre-engineering, mechanical, aerospace, civil and biotechnical engineering.

Like other high schools in the area, Johnson offers a full panel of arts and athletics.

In the fall, students can participate in football, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball and cross country.

Winter athletics include basketball, gymnastics, hockey, swimming and wrestling.

In spring, students can participate in badminton, baseball, softball, tennis, golf and track and field
